THE BEST SECRET OF ALL
Life is full of secrets. As an Illusionist, I know quite a few...
Some secrets are rather ridiculous (like making a rabbit appear or cutting a person in two) while others are truly important. Usually I try to keep secrets to myself, but there is one secret which must be shared, for it can be life changing. The Best Secret of All is that God loves you! The Bible begins by stating that God created everything that exists. And He not only made you - He cares about you in life. His love is so great that He gave His own Son to die for you. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
The Bible tells us we have all sinned (disobeyed God). “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
God offers each of us the incredible gift of life, rather than going our own way of sin, death and hell. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Jesus, God’s only Son, suffered and died on a cross to take our punishment for living against God. “…but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Jesus died for our sins, then rose from the dead on the third day so we can be forgiven and assured of heaven. “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Have you received Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to say you will live for Him? Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
Prayer of Commitment:
“Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me. I believe you are God’s only Son, and that You died for my sins on the cross and rose from the dead so I can live with you forever in heaven. Thank you for dying for me. Please forgive me of everything and come into my life and help me to live for You. Amen.”
